Frequently Asked Questions...and Answers:

Your Wedding Day

Q: How long does it take to receive our images?

A: Digital files are available within 8 weeks of the wedding date. I will put up a sneak peek on my Facebook page within 72 hours.

Q: How many images will we receive from our wedding?

A: The number of images varies depending upon the number of guests, the hours of coverage, and your personal style. Typically you will receive at least 500 images for an all day event. I will do some basic editing to all images and further editing on select images. Touch ups on portraits, for example.

Q:  Do we keep the digital files to print on our own?

A: I provide the selected, edited high-resolution digital files. I do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competition, professional review, etc. You are allowed to make unlimited personal reproductions and copies for your family and friends.

Q: Do we receive the raw, unedited files?

A: The final images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my high standards and attention to detail. The original images that do not pass my inspection are not available for purchase.

Q: Do you come to the rehearsal?

A: Often times, if I have not photographed at your venue in the past, I will either come to the rehearsal or scout out your location ahead of time. I like to be prepared for each setting individually.

Q: Can you save a date for me?

A: I am happy to reserve a date for you with a $500 deposit and a signed contract! I am unable to hold a date without the deposit and contract as I accept additional bookings and arrange my personal life around each contracted date.

Q: What is your payment schedule?

A: A $500 deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day of the event.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?

A: Cash, Check, Paypal and very soon, credit cards.

Q: If we're running late, will you stay longer than you were scheduled?

A: Certainly. I do have an overtime rate and it goes into effect only with your permission and approval that I continue coverage. I will bill you for those hours the week following the event.

Q: Would you like us to offer you a plate of food at the reception?

A: It would be greatly appreciated if you did! Feeding me helps ensure I keep my energy up and gives me a few minutes off of my feet. When your guests are eating there is usually time for me to take a quick break as well. No one wants photos of themselves with their mouths full. I do however keep my camera ready for those unexpected moments that may occur during the dinner.

Q: Can our family and friends take photos with their cameras?

A: Yes, however, I do request they allow me to take the family and group photos to ensure that all eyes are facing my camera in your images. Also, I prefer to photograph the couple alone for your comfort and to give you two a chance to relax and enjoy each other.
